LAUNCH DATE: 30TH NOVEMBER 2005 LABEL: UNTOUCHABLES RECORDSAnd What!!! It’s the second album from E=Mc, and it is set to shake the foundations of this industry. Last year he made his mark and let people know he was not playing around. This year he say’s “ It will be the takeover, so people get it out of your heads I am not no one hit wonder!” And What!!! Has a lot of emotion in it, the songs reflect the hardships, sorrows and joys that we all go through in life. This album means a lot to E=Mc, he has given it his heart and soul and so have the singers. The album features such artists as: Surinder Billa, Laddi Bath, Salamat, Laddi Sandhu. It also features highlighted tracks from the newly formed group by E=Mc The F*A*U*J which consists of the trio E=Mc/ Tej Gill/ M.D. so lets get to it! Intro: The intro is uplifting with hard desi dhols and the urban drumbeats filling it out with a banging old skool tumba, and hardcore bassline. It leaves the listener bopping his head and they get a quick few words from the main man himself. Sahelia Nu: The opening track is proper desi material. The song is sang by Surinder Billa a local midlands based singer who we hooked up in the studio. When I heard the song I looked at Billa and said “haha you wanna take it back on that tip I am down with that.” So we got down to work and this is what we came up with. It has that mahi veh mahi feel but we went propa desi on it and stayed away from the mc’ing. Pyaarea: This song, what can I say, it is the song of the album for me it has such deep meaning to it. It was sang by Tej Gill one third of The F*A*U*J trio, he flew down from Toronto to record and it was just a great time to have one of your best boys come down and record and chill with you. This song is particularly important due to the fact it was created to teach some people a lesson, you know who I’m talking about! Friendship is not a game, it’s not something you take advantage of you and don’t let money come between friends or anything else for that matter. I just hope the song gets the message across! Dolana: My first hindi track that I have ever made and many say it has potential for Bollywood. I will just say it was an honour working with Salamat. I met him in Pakistan while I was out there for a gig with Jazzy B, and B21, and he heard me on the piano in the hotel lobby and he came over and said I am coming to the U.K. lets work I said cool and that’s how it went down. Nakahrey: This is the track that had my head going crazzzzzzy. I remade it three times, 3 different versions then I finally was happy with it! As you can tell I am a perfectionist. This song was sang by Tej Gill, the beat has different pieces of kicks, snares, tabla, dhol etc. Its just one of those songs where you think afterwards how the hell did I make this. It is a great club banger and for me and Tej this is what we do. We make them classics. Akh Naal: The song was sung by Binder who hails from the North. A true voice, a true talent, and he’s such a great guy to work with. It was just M.D and me in the studio. He stayed the night and we kicked it and put down this track. For me it is just a sweet tune, that has that old skool A.S. Kang Vibe. M.D and me gave it that little hook it needed. Skit: This skit was just a good laugh. This is what we always do when we are chilling with the boys. We get the dholki out and the vaja and we jam and sing boliyaan. So M.D. and me got down and let our voices rip hahaha. I love my culture and music and I just wanted people to see how me and my boys get down when we have a good time! Nachana: It was the first song I completed on the album. It was a good song sang by Laddi Bath from New York. We worked hard to make it just right then I had Robby Kaila come down and drop a hot hook on there. I saw him perform at the symphony hall in Birmingham, he was a finalist in a BBC competition, a real safe guy who has a bright future so watch out. Jatt Dhe Dhonalle: okay your wondering about M.D. hmmmmmmm! M.D. is the mic doc aka: Mandeep Aujla, he is the 3rd member of the F*A*U*J. I had to have my man come through with 3 hot 16’s and I had Tej drop the hook & it is the first official F*A*U*J track to hit the streets. So what can I say this goes out to all them clip holders, who get rowdy and bowdy in the clubs, every gangster repping his block. Jatt Dhe Dhonalle is some of my best work up to date. NYC ain’t even ready for this, but shhh! We coming. Mull lagada: Were back with Surinder billa featuring me and M.D. the track is beautiful. It has a very sweet feel to it and the rhymes just make it an all around loving and vibing tune. Tumba: It’s the tune that gets me all happy. Tumba is a desi track with rich desi percussions, hard tumbi’s. The flutes were played by Pardeep Sandhu who is famous for working with Rishi Rich and juggy D on there projects. The song was sung by Laddi Sandhu from east London who brought that desi vibe to the track. Jatt Dhe Mood: This song just gets me into the mood. Hahahahhaa! yeah that’s exactly it, Binder brought them vocals like he was Janjua in his prime. The tune is a desi anthem and there is nothing else to say about it. You will be in the mood! Dat banga: It’s the hiphop track letting the mainstream know i am here now with M.D. Tej Gill. The F*A*U*J is set for big things you know! “We sip that crown royal you know how we gets down it’s the FA UJ shhhhhhhhhhhh! Its our time now.” We let loose spoke our minds so listen closely cuz we telling a story! The beat is like heavy on the block and soon to have collaborations with D-Block! Outro: all the hard work finally pay’s off, and a toast to everyone who was apart of it and what a way to end it with Tej Gill Mr. aka : Konkiawala letting loose F*A*U*J style! This concludes the Album And What!!! So now Go buy It and support moi cheers! |
