After immigrating to the West over ten years ago, Bohemia came to realize that the South Asian experience in America wasn't all nice cars and palm trees. On the contrary, he found himself living amongst murderers and drug dealers.

Through his experiences, come raw, hard-edged raps depicting not just California street life, but a life many South Asians lead in America. His lyrics are in Punjabi while many of the hooks are in English. Placed over hip-hop beats, Bohemia makes it seem as though Punjabi was made to be rapped rather than merely spoken.

Bohemia looks up to artists such as Jagjeet Singh and the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. His music has created a big impact on the streets of America and he has a large underground following and is widely recognized as the pioneer of Desi Hip Hop.

Bally Sagoo proudly presents Bohemia’s new album ‘Pesa Nasha Pyar’. A truly remarkable gift of rapping in Punjabi makes him a very unique individual who will make his mark in the global hip hop scene. ‘Pesa Nasha Pyar’ is a rollercoaster ride of brilliantly arranged tracks ranging from dark street themes, to upbeat party songs.

  • Menis & Nazza T sign to Xstreme Soundz on 1st September 2005…
  • Sshh!” video out now…
  • Debut album “Spot The Difference” out 6th February 2006…

Their debut hit “Sshh!” received a massive response after being aired on the Bobby Friction & Nihal show (BBC Radio 1), the Adil Ray show (BBC Asian Network) and numerous other local and national radio stations through August & September of 2005. Now Xstreme Soundz are proud to announce the signing of Menis aka Road Runna & Nazza T on a long-term deal that will see them fulfil their potential and revolutionise Asian
music both in the UK and abroad.

These talented young artists are set to be a huge shot in the arm to the British Asian music scene, and now with the video for “Sshh!” receiving a massive response and their debut album “Spot The Difference” completed and releasing on 6th February 2006 (distributed nationwide by Oriental Star Agency), they are ready to take it to the next level.

We at Xstreme Soundz are delighted to have signed Menis and Nazza T as we believe that they will prove to be valuable and versatile additions to our artist roster. Menis aka Road Runna has the potential to be successful in not only the Asian market, but also in the Grime and UK Hip-hop scenes. With this in mind, “Don’t Beg It”, a new Menis track featuring production by Nazza T, will be released to a select group of Grime DJs in tandem with the album launch, and a solo Road Runna EP will follow later in 2006. Recording for the tentatively titled “Swing For You” EP has already begun, and promos will be released for airing in the near future.

Nazza T has not only signed as an artist with Xstreme Soundz but also joins the label as an inhouse producer, and he will be working on releases for other artists on the label roster in addition to a number of new remixes in the pipeline with major record companies in the US and UK.
