My Fantabulously Amazing Thursday Night

OK.. here goes

So.. i had a meeting yesterday at 4pm which was supposed to last one hour... blah blah blah.. boring boring.. it finished at 5:45pm which wasn't good coz I had to be at Hammersmith for a John Legend Concert!!

anyway.. i found a new route.. was surprised by the lack of traffic on the A40.. went via shepherds bush n was there in half hour! yay.. go me

anyway.. ladidadi.. here's the good bit which leads up to the amazing bit!

so... as my friend works right opposite the apollo.. she started Qing when she finished work.. which means when i got there i just waltzed right to the front of the Q.. and then when we got in we legged it right to the front

YES!

we we're right at the front! i mean in the past we get at the front but we have about 5-8 rows of people in front

this time.. NO1!! just me.. the barrier..the security space.. the stage! wooo!

(bare with me.. i'm honestly trying to get to the exciting part as quickly as i can)

so the warm ups come on..

Unkle Jam... never heard of em.. but i recognised their music. lets put it this way.. they're damn good. like really good. like so good that you're gonna dload all their tracks in a minute good. you prob know their tune "what am i fighting for (it must me be love)". they're very energetic on stage n just wow. So yeh.. they're like a mix of prince n lenny kravitz n stuff. super cool stuff. and i fancy the skinny one with the afro. annndd.. they're from london. and speak really nicely. not all this.. yeh wah wah from the ghetto bull$hit. like.. the speak nice.

now as expected.. he was fcking amazing. n he's gorrrjussss. i wanted to rip his clothes off! n being so close.. i'm convinced his sweat/slober fell on me.

so anyway.. he's doin the show.. i'm loving it.. boppin..swaying.. singing along.. n then i notice there's a couple of girls next to me.. but on the other side of the barrier.. n i was all.. heeyyy how come you get to.. but then i looked at her again.. and it was Corrine Bailey Rae!!.. n then she sat on the barrier in front of me!.. like so close i coulda poked her in the head if i wanted! a celeb.. in poking distance of meeeeee

so then JL starts singing 'Number 1'.. n i like that tune.. so i'm all happy n goin woo.. n outta nowhere.. now remember.. my typing will never portray the goose pimples, shivers down my spine, orgasms n general omgness that i felt.. but just try n imagine the best you can.

i know!! I was all omg omg omg!

now anyone who takes notice.. will know how i love kanye. dont like hip hop much at all.. but love kanye. went to see him last year etc etc. but the sheer excitedness i felt yday topped my reaction to absolutely everything ever! i think its coz it wasnt expected. he just kinda ran out. i'm slightly ashamed but not really.. but you know you get the teen flicks with giggly excited annoying cheerleaders who jump up n down squeeling.. actually.. imagine a far worse version of the Big Bro Twins. That was me for about 3minutes. Infact it was the whole theatre for about 3 minutes. of course me being right at the front just died even more. i tried to touch him but he was too far. just thinking about it brings back all those shivers

so anyway.. they finished n kanye left the building. but it made my year!
next came estelle. now i've never been much of an estelle fan. n altho the song they did together was good.. she came right after kanye n i really wasnt that interested in her.. i was far too busy trying to restart my heart.

all in all the show exceeded my expectations by millesss! john legend is an amazing artist. amazing voice that could get me naked in about 30seconds. I thought he was attractive before but I wana marry him now. n then we can hang out with kanye n stuff

night made better by unkle jam n kanye of course..

if any of you ever get the chance to see JL perform.. i really would reccomend it. there were bits where the whole theatre was singing n thats all u could hear.. gives u a proper buzz.

*sigh*

now that i've calmed down a lil..

hmm.. i like them. not enuff to pay to see em. JE n 112 were awesome tho.

best concert i've ever been to was probably Usher (confessions tour). now he is a great performer who puts on a show.
