Hairdressing prices

Right i'm gettin my hair cut this weekend at the same place i got it done last time coz they were really good.. sure they took 3 hours to get it all done n washed it about 3 times n blow dried it twice etc etc.. but they made my hair super pretty.

But.. right now i'm a lil strapped for cash.. n i dunno if i wana spend £200

so.. whats the normal price u'd spend to get ur hair washed, cut, blow dried n coloured?

also.. can sumone in west london/ NW london recommend a good hairdresser... one that WONT fck up the colour.. n is cheaper?

i know one near me.. but they dont look like they'd colour ur hair nicely.. i'll probably walk outta there ginger or something.

so yeh... is £200 ok? or... yeh.. help?

for a cut i paid 40 i think, but i usually am willing to double that, colour even in the cheapest places can be like 50 quid, so for a cut and colour the max i would pay is 120, i have paid more before, however to be truthful its not been any better. I know girls who pay 250 for cut and colour, but i think its ridiculous.

It all depends on what ur local rates are, im sure u could get a damn good cut and colour for under 100, easy. Find a very good SMALL salon, they will prob charge bout 90 for both, but ur likely to get a director and they will nicer than u goin to a franchise [ eg toni and guy]

the hairdresser i go to, is really small, but because of that he can spend ages on my hair, and is honest with me

the place i been goin to is in mayfair.. think thats why they're more expensive.. payin £70 for the cut (it can be cheaper but this guys the "creative director".. n he did it last time.. i dunno what the others might do to my hair so i just went with him again)... n then £95 for colour (again can be cheaper but the head technician did it last time n he made sure i dint go blonde/ginger.. so i went with him again)... n then i think they'll charge me like £20-30 for washing

the thing with hairdressers is that i wont go unless i've been recommended.. some people scare me when i watch them doin hair. my beautician is super cool.. but the hairdresser there... i sumtimes sit there n watch her while i'm waiting and in my head i'm thinkin.. "wtf are u doing?!".

n small ones wud put me off further.. coz.. i dunno.. i just.. *shrugs*

*googles toni & guy and that other random hairdresser in the chimes*

Try Ginger Group (just outside of the Chimes).

I tend to only go there. They are awesome.

You're looking at about £100 (+/-) for the whole lot.

As long as you have an idea of what you want and, more importantly, what you don't want, then things should go fine, especially if you're going with professionals.

Normally about £25/35 a month, depending if there's colour or not, Hair cutttery in Birmingham town, the best.

the worst is when u see these old joes at like nicky clarkes, with like no hair, only bits, and they are having it "cut" , and then at the end of it hand over like 200 quid?! im like woooot, its funny cuz if you watch the hairdresser they just keep talking and pretend to be cutting but really they are just feeling the persons head. wierd.

Lol, true. , but to be fair most of these 'old joes' might be abit minted, you have to be spending money on a cut when you got no hair, lol.
