theres been some peculiar transfers this summer, even last summer, like Van Der Vaart to Hamburg. but these teams are usually a stepping stone, and help them perform better, i mean the Greek league aint exactly a great comparison to the french league and so, so.

I thought Yaya was meant to team up with Kolo at the Goon....oh well...another one bites the dust at Highbu...oops..Emirates (how sad, their stadium is now named after a nation...says it all about Arsenal's transfer policy over the past 8 years really).

^Your Chairman took out a £260million pound loan just to get the stadium finished. He based the loan request against future earnings gained from ticket sales alone (as far as i know), so if you don't manage to do anything in cup games this year, the Gooners are looking at a steep financial problem. Ticket sales from league games on their own won't be sufficient to pay off the loan. Just hope Reyes leaves for big bucks....along with others in the future, like Henry.
No doubt about the quality of players though, some shrewd buys from Wenger. It's what we've come to expect. No wonder he never sees anything on the pitch, he's always eyeing up some kid in Africa or France, lol. |

^ ticket sales wont b a problem.. we got 7000 seats alone which are going
at 2500 - 4000 a season.. and im sure u gotta buy them on a 4 year deal.. and not forgetting the 150 executive boxes which are all sold out aswell and they start from 65000 a season.. i would think now that most of highbury or even all has been sold that most of the new stadium should be paid of for soon ... yep thats 1 thing i really like bout AW him being able to buy a nobody really for a cheap price n then turn them in to top players : ) .... ^lol, welcome to the club...
![]() I dunno, everything surrounding Arsenal this year is a bit up in the air...anything's possible but then again they could flop. Everyone's been saying that their style of play will be full-on attack, but it could bounce back on them because of their defensive injury woes. Personally, I hope they screw up, especially at home. Is the Emirates pitch size bigger than Highbury? Of course, I'd love to see some attacking flowing footy though...it's what Henry was made for... |
