BBC signs up tv series with Wass-Up Team

LONDON, April 21 (Reuters) - BBC have signed a deal with Wass-up.com owners for a new series of their popular Apprentice TV show based on the cyber world.

New programs development director Phillip Morris said "Online commerce and social interaction has really taken off and we wanted to tap into that for our viewers. Wass-Up.com seems the right partner to help deliver the program".

The show will be much like its TV counterpart with 16 asian contestants old and young vying to become The Licks Apprentice with tasks set online.

Tasks on the show will test candidate skills include: Convincing Punjabi_kurixxx to make the team garam parathas for lunch, selling premium memberships, getting as many marriage proposals from v2Sweet4u, luring members into bed, creating threads and staying on topic.

Episode one will see candidates split into mixed teams and set the task of uncovering as many fakes on SoAsians forum before the days up.

Afty: its like dem sayin why the gal look pwity on the pole dance, das their lyf they wanna, its peroggatives & their happy, dont care bout any other smelly welly

T-Lick: Just shut up Afty. Your giving me a bloody headache.

The Lick much like Sir Alan keeps the show entertaining and the candidates on their toes with one liners as:

"I don't like fake asses"
"I don't do identity thefts"
"Not on form? your name wouldn't be Virender Sehwag by any chance.."

The show will broadcast online via Wass-up own site this winter to broadband subscribers.
