Liverpool v Newcastle

St James' Park
Sunday, 19 March
Kick-off: 1330 GMT

Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso will return after a one-match ban and Sami Hyypia is back after making a full recovery from his hamstring injury. John Arne Riise (calf) is doubtful so Stephen Warnock may play at left-back.

Newcastle defenders Titus Bramble and Craig Moore could be included after both recovered from hamstring problems. Stephen Carr is back in training after hernia surgery but will not be ready, while Michael Owen (foot) and Steven Taylor (shoulder) are still missing.

Liverpool (from): Reina, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Agger, Warnock, Traore, Luis Garcia, Gerrard, Hamann, Alonso, Kewell, Crouch, Cisse, Morientes, Fowler, Kromkamp, Dudek.

My prediction: 2-0
Liverpool

I hope Titus Bramble plays

^ Lol Titus Bramble. Since there are no scoring worries for us, I hope Fowler and Cisse can play together. Cisse is pacey like Owen and Fowler and Owen had a great partnership.

He'll probably play Garcia on the right and Stevie and Alonso in the centre of midfield.

It'll be a close game since Newcastle have been doing well recently at home, so I predict a 1-0 or 2-1 to us. 2-0 if we're lucky.

Oh and that middle girl in your avatar reminds me of someone lol.

The Liverpool side for today's game at St James' Park is:

Reina
Carragher
Hyypia
Agger
Warnock
Gerrard
Hamann
Kromkamp
Kewell
Cisse
Crouch

Subs:
Dudek
Garcia
Traore
Fowler
Alonso

Titus Bramble is back in the Newcastle squad for Sunday's game with Liverpool at St James' Park.

Bramble picked up a hamstring injury in Newcastle's 0-0 draw at home to Charlton in February and has missed the last three games but the former Ipswich centre back has been in full training, and will come into contention for today's game against Liverpool.

Craig Moore is also in the Newcastle squad, having played for the reserves on Monday, though the game comes too soon for Stephen Carr, who is still recovering from abdominal problems.

Newcastle caretaker boss Glenn Roeder will choose his team from the following squad: Ameobi, Babayaro, Bowyer, Boumsong, Bramble, Clark, Chopra, Dyer, Elliott, Emre, Faye, Given, Harper, Luque, Moore, N'Zogbia, Parker, Pattison, Ramage, Shearer, Solano.

Crouch and Gerrard score just like last time

Ameobi was blatantly offside when he headed it in 'tis a shame.

2-1 halftime.

That really should've been something like 5-0. I was totally wrong lol and happy to be, we completely dominated and that was not a close match at all. They never managed to break our offside trap, and yet were awarded a goal when it was offside?

Another two strikers on the scoresheet We played well, good stuff.
